Offensive / Defensive Line Coach 

2008 – 2017

Coach Golden worked closely with the Defenders offensive and defensive lines during his 9 years with the Dallas Defenders Football Club. Coach Golden assisted in coaching the Defenders to 2 NPSFL Division II National Championship Games and winning 1 of them. 

Coach Golden was a Patrol Sergeant with over 30 years of service with the Denton Police Department.  The Defenders will miss seeing Coach Golden on the sidelines on game day and at practices, as will all others whose life he touched.

Team Founder and President

2007-2012

Coach Courville played 3 years as a Defensive End for the Dallas Defenders and served on the Defenders coaching staff from 2009-2012, in addition to his duties as Team President. Without the tireless efforts of Coach Courville, the Dallas Defenders would not be the successful program that it is today.

 Jeff Price

Quarterback/Coach 

1999-PRESENT

Price began his NPSFL career in 1999 as Quarterback for the DFW Panthers. Promoted to Offensive Coordinator in 2005, he assisted in two Division Two Championships in 2005 & 2007, the teams final season. Price became Head Coach for the startup Dallas Defenders in 2008, and since then has guided them to 4 NPSFL Championship trips (2010, 2013, 2022, and 2023) with a Division Two Championship win in 2013. Price was elected President of the NPSFL in 2016, where he currently serves his 5th term

 Ronny McCoy 

Quarterback 

2004-2019

McCoy entered the NPSFL in 2004 as Quarterback for the DFW Panthers, leading them to two NPSFL Division Two Championships in 2005 and 2007. He made the move to the Dallas Defenders, as their Quarterback, from 2009 to 2019. In that time he added 2 additional championship berths (2010 and 2013) to his legacy, with a win in the 2013 Division Two Championship
